Have you wondered where did Minecraft got their paintings from? All paintings from Minecraft come from an contemporary Swedish artist Kristoffer Zetterstrand. His works often reflect the mergence between computer-generated world and the real world. Minecraft used the pixelated versions of those paintings. This resource pack aims to bring Kristoffer Zetterstrand's painting into Minecraft none-pixelated.

Here is a brief overview of those wonderful paintings. I am sure if you played Minecraft, you will known recognize those paintings. Instead of looking at the pixelated paintings of Minecraft vanilla texture pack, you are looking at the original Kristoffer Zetterstrand's artworks. What I've done is brought the un-pixelated version of those paintings into Minecraft, with some artistic liberty.

For example, in the original artwork (called "RGB"). The child is holding a painting with three color squares instead of a pig. Thus, I've photoshopped the pig onto the image with respect to the painting's orientation and artistic style.

In this example, the original painting (called "Seaside") has no creeper in it, but a flower pot. So I've replaced the background and inserted the creeper face.

Other paintings, however, only require a resize or crop. You can take a preview above.

Note: I do not have the copyright to modify or redistribute those paintings. All paintings are copyrighted to Kristoffer Zetterstrand. As all of the paintings can be accessed free of charge from zetterstrand.com, I will assume this submission is fine. I am willing to take it down if it's inappropriate.
