MiniDebugHud

MiniDebugHud is a resource pack only utility for players. It shows a couple useful things about the game, similar to the java debug screen. It shows what biome the player is in, the amount of entities, the direction the player is looking in, and the day count.

Contents
MiniDebugHud contains 4 useful pieces of information that can be useful for any player:

Direction:
This will show which cardinal direction (North, East, South, West) the player is looking in. This only works when the player is sprinting, sneaking, swimming or flying. This is useful if you want to know which direction you are placing blocks in.

Day:
Shows the day count. The first day is "Day: 1".

Entity (experimental):
Shows the amount of entities near the player. This is not 100% accurate as it doesn't count all entities. Also count players as entities.

Biome (experimental):
Shows which biome the player is in. Example: "Biome: Plains".

Subpacks
There are 2 subpacks: "non-experimental" and "experimental":

Non-experimental (enabled by default):
This subpack will only contain "Direction" and "Day". This will work in any world or server that allows the use of this resource pack

Example non-experimental ingame:

Example non-experimental ingame while flying:

Experimental:
This subpack will show everything in this resource pack: "Biome", "Entity", "Direction" and "Day". If this subpack is enabled, the world that it is used in need "Holiday Creator Features" enabled in the world settings:

"Holiday Creator Features enabled:

Known issues

  • While flying, paper doll is required, or nothing will show up ("Hide Paper Doll" is off).
  • "Direction" does not work if the player is: standing still, sits in a minecart/boat, rides a horse/pig/strider, flying upwards in creative.
  • While flying, the "Direction" and "Biome" information will move depending on the direction the paper doll is turning.
This will make it harder to read.
