With vanilla Minecraft, many blocks and items are non-renewable, making it hard for you to build out of them. Some are renewable in some way but farming them is extremely time-consuming. That’s where Advanced Survival comes in!

Advanced Survival brings over 100 new recipes. However, none of those are game-breaking. These recipes are meant to make crafting, and gameplay in general, more convenient. There are now easier ways to obtain non-renewable blocks. This addon even makes some of those blocks renewable!

Block Cleaning

In vanilla Minecraft, there is no way for you to clean stained terracotta, coloured wool, carpet, stained glass, stained glass panes, or beds. This addon allows you to do it!

It’s simple. Just put a water bucket in the middle and surround it with a coloured block. Here are some examples:

There is a special format for beds; just put your bed on top of a water bucket.

Faster Concrete Converting

Simply surround a water bucket with a single colour of concrete powder.

Boats without Shovels

You can now choose to craft a boat without a shovel!

Plants into Dyes

You can now turn:

Sweet Berries Red Dye

Red Mushroom Red Dye

Brown Mushroom Brown Dye

Crimson Fungus Red Dye

Warped Fungus Cyan Dye

Simply put the item in a crafting grid as shown below.

^ Crying Obsidian: 2x Ghast Tear, 1x Obsidian

^ Gilded Blackstone: 5x Blackstone, 4x Gold Ingot

^ Chain Armour: 5x / 8x / 7x / 4x Chains (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots)

^ Shroomlight: 4x Glowstone Dust, 1x Nether Wart Block / Warped Wart Block
