Colored Item Frames Addon
Item frames are one of the most useful blocks in the game as they allow you to display any item or block in them. This add-on adds more customization to your item frames so that you are not stuck with the same old orange-brown frame color. All the 16 dye colors have been added as well as an invisible item frame.
How does it work?
You can craft the colored item frames by putting a normal item frame and a dye of your choice into the crafting grid. To craft an invisible item frame, place an item frame in the middle and eight glass panes surrounding it.
The item frames can also be found in the "Construction" tab of the creative inventory. Once you place the item frame down, you can interact with any item* to display it. Like vanilla item frames, these can also rotate the item in eight directions.
*IMPORTANT:
Only flat 2D items can be displayed in the custom item frames. This means no armor, tools, weapons, blocks, etc.
Some other known bugs:
If there is no item being displayed in the item frame, you must click twice to break it. You cannot remove an item once it has been placed in the item frame. You will, however, obtain the item when the frame is broken in survival.
This add-on, while survival compatible, is recommended for creative mode due to the limitations of Bedrock Edition add-ons.
Installation
If you are on iOS:
Open the file with the Notes app, then from there you will be able to open in Minecraft.
