To turn ON:
Simply interact with the item. The icon and item name should indicate that the flashlight is on.
To turn OFF:
Interact or use again the item. The icon and item name should indicate that the flashlight is off.
Sometimes the light can phase through an enclosed space if the player is looking diagonally at an edge of a block. I will not fix this bug because it will require me to add more computations per tick which can decrease the performance and therefore cause lag.
Don't worry though, as this should not affect the quality of your gameplay!
Q: This addon uses repeating command blocks. Why use it over tick.json?
A: Tick.json causes too much updates per second, which in turn leads to server lag. Repeating command blocks help fix this by adding a delay.
