Flourishing Fauna

Have you thought Bedrock Minecraft lacked animals like reptiles, fish or invertebrates? Maybe wanting earths megafauna and apex predators in your Minecraft world? Well wait no longer because Flourishing Fauna is here!

This expansion of mobs adds all kinds of creatures of different shapes and sizes. A lot of time, energy, effort and love has been put into the making of this add-on, and I and those who help me are planning on adding more creatures and beasts into the future. This add-on doesn't use player.json which means almost every add-on is compatible.

Flourishing Fauna adds creatures like Elephants, Lions, Zebra, Toucans, Sharks and lizards! Even fiction creatures like dragons!

Swamp mobs

Mob - Flamingo

Behavior - Passive

Health - 10

Info - Pink birds that love eating shrimp! After sifting through the water on top of blocks, there's a chance that raw shrimp will drop. Shrimp can be eaten raw, feed and breed flamingos using shrimp, cooked or turn into a cocktail using beetroot and a glass bottle (will give the drinker a speed boost for a few seconds)

Ocean mobs

Mob - Man o' War

Behavior - Passive

Health - 3

Info - Floating poisonous siphonophores that drift through the waves. Killing them will make them drop slime balls but if your careful and apply arrows on them, you can get poison arrows! They can be bucketed.

Mob - Blue Glaucus

Behavior - Passive

Health - 3

Info - Poisonous nudibranchs that hunt man o' wars. They can be picked up using buckets and their poison can be harvested using glass bottles. Glaucus poison can be thrown and will give mobs or other players poison and weakness.

Mob - Shark

Behavior - Neutral

Health - 35

Info - Large carnivorous fish that stalks the oceans. They are actually relatively docile around players, but when it becomes night, they get a little too brave.. Sharks that have been fed with salmon will protect the area they are located in, and when they bite something they have a chance to drop their teeth, which can be brewed into strength potions.

Mob - Puffin

Behavior - Passive

Health - 6

Info - Sea birds that inhabit frozen oceans. The player after successfully taming them using salmon, they can barter with their owners if given fish. The items they give range from kelp to Hearts of the Sea!

Desert mobs

Mob - Sandfish

Behavior - Passive

Health - 4

Info - These little lizards call the hot arid deserts their home. They can be a quick meal that can be eaten raw or cooked, and can be bred to make farms with them using spider eyes. If the player is fast enough, they can capture them using buckets.

Jungle mobs

Mob - Toucan

Behavior - Passive

Health - 8

Info - Black birds with colorful beaks, they love eating fruit. Players who tame them can use these birds as temporary turrets, blasting away mobs that the player attacks or gets attacked by, just make sure to feed them fruit to give them "ammo"!

Mob - Mantis

Behavior - Neutral

Health - 15 (10 when tamed)

Info - One of the deadliest but frailest mobs in the jungle. These tall arthropods are usually quite friendly, and you can even tame baby mantises using spider eyes, but tamed mantises are frailer than wild mantises (The only way you can find a baby mantis is by breeding two adults together, but you'll soon find out one of the reasons they're famous for), but when night falls the player isn't safe around them. Mantises have a grab attack that can potentially instant kill most mobs.

Savanna mobs

Mob - Secretary Bird

Behavior - Neutral

Health - 10

Info - Beautiful land-dwelling birds of prey, they stalk the tall grasses of the savanna in search of prey. Taming them using rabbit meat, they can wear boots that increase their attack damage(7 for gold, 8 for iron, and 10 for diamond)! Tamed secretary birds can be healed using rabbit meat and raw sandfish.

Mob - Lion

Behavior - Neutral

Health - 20

Info - One of savannas most famous apex predators and the king of the jungle! be careful around them during the night, or you will regret it! Breeding two lions together with raw meat can produce a tamable little cub! Once tamed lions will roar at mobs they are attacking, which increases the players and the lions strength!

Mob - Zebra

Behavior - Neutral

Health - 20

Info - Savannas most popular black and white stripped equine! they have a semi-aggressive temperament so they don't like it when you are in their personal space. However if the player is daring enough, they can attempt to ride and tame one! If successful you have a great steed that will help attack hostile mobs nearby.

Mob - Elephant

Behavior - Neutral

Health - 100

Info - Earths largest living land animal and one of the most intelligent animals that walked the savannas. Very passive towards the player unless they been attacked by them. The player can tame these creatures by riding them, once ridden the player can do a special stomp attack that does high knockback by holding jump. Elephants tend to have a natural hatred towards illagers and ravagers. (Elephants have rare chance at spawning in Jungles)

Taiga mobs

Mob - Timber wolf

Behavior - Neutral

Health - 15

Info - Larger wolf relatives, they are more vicious then their smaller cousins. During the day they are neutral, but at night they become hostile, attacking foxes, normal wolves, sheep, rabbits, skeletons, strays and the player and if they're injured they'll find food they can eat and try to heal from it! They can be tamed via raw mutton.

Mob - Grizzly Bear

Behavior - Neutral

Health - 25

Info - One of the larger predators of the taiga and should not be trival with. Grizzlies are usually chill and will even allow you to ride them if you are holding salmon on a stick! however if the player harms them, appraoches their cubs they will attack! If the player feed grizzlies honey, they go into a rage like state attacking hostile mobs around them, be careful because if your holding food they WILL maul you.

Plains mobs

Mob - Earthwyrm

Behavior - Passive

Health - 8

Info - Flourishing Fauna's first fictional mob and dragon, they only appear once it starts to rain! The player can pick them up using apples and have a chance at increasing crop growth by digging the ground!
