Halloween 2020 Addon – Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you have a spooky time today and enjoy this new update!
We’ve reached the spookiest month of the year now! But do you think Minecraft could also be spookier? Well you came to the right place. This is an addon that will add new Halloween content into your game! There will be updates with new features every week for this October! Hope you enjoy this!
The first new feature is a new mob, it’s the Pumpkin Knight! This skeleton wields a sword and will charge at you with it, the knight also won’t burn in the sun because of the pumpkin it is wearing! It’s attacks will inflict weakness onto you! They will drop their pumpkin and sometimes their sword if killed and you can find them spawning in flower and birch forest biomes.
The next new mob is the Pumpkin Ghast! It can also be found in flower and birch forests. If you get too close it starts spitting projectiles at you. It’s less damaging but has more health then a ghast due to its tough pumpkin! And that pumpkin will drop if you kill it!
This new mob is the Creepy Crawly! A terrifying giant spider that resides in the extreme hills biomes. Has lots of health and high attack damage! It also sometimes inflicts blindness on you! Drops a spider eye, some string or rarely a Spider Heart if killed. You can either eat this heart to get strength, resistance and nausea for 30 seconds or you can make a Cobweb Staff! The Cobweb Staff shoots slowing cobwebs!
Up next is the Candy Parrot! Right now the Candy Parrot doesn’t spawn anywhere but I will change that. It’s immune to fire but hurt by water, this parrot also has a lot of health but never moves. If you kill it you’ll get candy! Candy is not a very good food source but can be eaten fast. If you make a bag out of leather and string then merge the bag with 5 Candy, you’ll get a Bag of Candy. The Bag of Candy is much better then the normal Candy is.
The fifth new mob to look at is the Zombie Chicken! As you guessed, it’s a zombie chicken. This chicken is also out for brains and as such it will attack all other animals as well as YOU! It’s attacks inflict fatal poison (poison that is able to kill you) so watch out! However, they will burn in sunlight. Zombie Chickens will spawn in Mesa and desert biomes and drop rotten flesh if killed.
Our final new mob is simply referred to as the Headless. This terrifying mob is a villager without a head. How scary is that? This poor being cannot move, does not make sounds and is pretty much defenceless! They spawn in the Nether, to make your time in their even more hellish… also they drop nothing if killed, but why would you waste your time killing these poor souls?
Mobs aren’t it all though, there is some other features in this addon you can find!
You can now make a Pumpkin Sword with a stick and two pumpkins. It’s not that powerful or durable, but increases your maximum health from 20 to 30 while held!
The Jack’O Crossbow is a new ranged weapon that can be crafted like you see below! It shoots projectiles that can explode and light their target on fire! I might consider changing the recipe if you think it’s too strong, leave your thoughts below!
There’s a new spooky item in the game called a Bottle of Blood! As of current, this blood is not obtainable without commands and does not do anything. But again, this will change!
The Shield texture has been changed to look very pumpkin-like! However, the shield isn’t supposed to be upside down, I’ll fix that in the first update.
Spooky Trees are a new tree type located in taiga biomes. They consist of two new blocks, Spooky Leaves and Spooky Logs. Spooky Leaves don’t do anything, but Spooky Logs can be crafted into Spooky Planks! These planks can then be crafted into either a crafting table or sticks, in the same way as any other wood, or a new Spooky Wood Sword! This sword has about the same stats as the normal wooden sword.
You may have also noticed, in some of the pictures, that the sky is darker then normal. That is a visual change added by this addon, but it won’t affect gameplay!
I changed some textures in the latest update. Very sorry that I stole the work of creators in this mod and did not even credit them. Check out the original creators here, and you should subscribe to them for their amazing textures !

I couldn’t find the original creators of the Bloody Strider, I am very sorry. But if you do find them, be sure to praise them !

*Headless has a new model
*Bloody Strider was renamed to the Eyeless, and the mob is stronger but because it doesn’t have eyes it won’t attack you unless you get too close
*You should be able to obtain the Spooky Suprise now
*Changed texture of water and overworld fog again
*You are now able to make blood stained and spooky planks into normal planks
*Pumpkin Ghast was renamed to the Pumpkin Floater
*You can’t trade with the Headless anymore
