24 hats for your wearing pleasure. All are enchantable (some more than others) and all provide some level of protection. Some even provide knockback resistance. All provide 100% protection against sunburn. See below table for all the details.

You need to enable Holiday Creator Features in your world settings.

Hat Crafting Table

The first thing you'll need is a Hat Crafting Table. The astute among you may realize it's not a 'real' crafting table, it's a trader, and it works quite well.

You can craft one like this:

Now you can place that down and get to business. 

Halloween-Themed Hats

As for the regular hats below, these are repairable in the 'usual Minecraft way', i.e. combine with the same sort of hat. You can also repair with other items. See detailed table below.

Magic Pumpkin Hat

Special hat that makes nearby Undead mobs have a pumpkin on their head.

Hockey Mask

Just in case you need to play hockey? Not durable but gives the wearer Strength boost.

Cat As A Hat

A cat around your neck? Who wouldn't love that? This one gives you Health boost. Repair with string.

Fake Knife 'Hat'

Fake knife through your head? Sounds like a plan. Fairly durable and enchantable.

Fake Arrow 'Hat'

All the fun of a real arrow through your head, but without the mess! Very durable. Repair with arrows.

Freddy Mask

Whatever you do... Don't. Fall. Asleep. 

And, you get Night Vision.

Head Bolt Mask

These were supposed to be neck bolts, but not many necks are to be found in Minecraft! Repair with iron ingots.

Hockey Mask Large

For maniacs with large heads? This pack has something for everyone. Same attributes as the smaller version.

Normal, sort of, Hats

All hats are repairable in the 'usual Minecraft way', i.e. combine with the same sort of hat. You can also repair with other items. See detailed table below. Some highlights:

Evil Wizard Hat

Very enchantable, good knockback resistance and protection. Repair with wool

Top Hat

Quite enchantable, some knockback resistance. Repair with wool. Won't grant tap-dance ability.

Wizard's Hat

Pretty much identical to the Evil Wizard's Hat.

Plumber Cap

Looks like something a plumber might wear. Not very durable, repair with wool. Gives the wearer Jump boost.

Cowboy Hat

Time for a shoot out! Less enchantable, quite durable. Repair with string.

Jester Hat

Who even cares about the attributes of this hat, you want one! You can have one!

Santa Hat

Ho, ho, ho. One for Winter? Very enchantable and durable, good knockback resistance. Repair with wool.

Viking Hat

Very good protection and looks. Average elsewhere (and who cares).

Disguise

This will make you unrecognizable to everyone, so use when super-spy business is required.

Wheelie Bin Hat

Let's face it, you'll be crafting this one first. But it's the most expensive of the lot. Excellent durability (these things are tough), great knockback resistance and a lot of protection.

Smiley Box

Turn that frown upside down! Very good durability, repair with concrete.
