Many of us love playing Minecraft, no matter our age, and Pokémon is a timeless game that we can teach to generations to come. The idea behind this addon is to merge the worlds of Minecraft and Pokémon, creating a new and exciting experience for players of all ages. This addon will bring Pokémon into the Minecraft world, offering a fresh take on the beloved franchise for a new generation of players.

Core Gameplay Features

New Pokémon Experience: Pokémon in this addon will not follow the traditional battle system. Instead, gameplay focuses on the use of berries, with some Pokémon having special attacks. This allows players to experience Pokémon in a more accessible way, regardless of their experience with either Minecraft or Pokémon.

Evolution System: Pokémon can evolve just like in the original games, but with a twist! Pokémon can evolve using the correct type of candy, and for dual-type Pokémon, either candy type can be used. You can also return a Pokémon to its Pokéball before it gets defeated.

Catching Pokémon: You can catch Pokémon by returning them to their Pokéballs, which feature a cool wiggle animation and sound effects before they drop to the ground. To retrieve a caught Pokémon, simply tap the Pokéball and pick it up along with the Pokémon inside.

Friendship Berries: After catching a Wild Pokémon, you must give it a Friendship Berry when sending it back out to help build its bond with you.

Candy Collection: Defeating wild Pokémon gives you small candies of their type, which can be crafted into Candy XL to help evolve certain Pokémon fully.

Pokéball Catching System: A new catching system has been implemented with different catch rates for all Pokémon, providing a unique challenge for each capture.

Pokégyms and Loyalty Coins

Pokégyms: These gyms offer random items to help with your adventure. Tap the gym with a Loyalty Coin (which Coro spawns with) to receive items like Pokéballs, Potions, Lure Modules, and Pokécoins. Additional items will be added as development continues.

Raid Gyms: You can use a lure on raid gyms to attract rare Pokémon. The type of Pokémon that spawns depends on the gym’s team:

Team Mystic: Squirtle, Eevee, and Dratini (including shiny variants).

Team Instinct: Bulbasaur, Eevee, and Dratini.

Team Valor: Charmander, Eevee, and Dratini. The lured gym lasts for 5 minutes before returning to its original team.

Legendary Pokémon and Special Events

Legendary Pokémon Drops: Legendary Pokémon will drop special items, including:

Common: Pokéballs (x20)

Uncommon: Pokécoins (x10)

Rare: Masterball (x1)

Super Rare: Spawn Egg (x1)

Ultra Rare: Shiny Spawn Egg (x1)

Elite Rare: Legendary Orb Piece (x1)

Shiny Pokémon: Just like in the original games, shiny Pokémon can be found and are a rare treat for collectors to show off to their friends.

Special Characters and NPCs

Professor Oak: Professor Oak will trade you a letter for a Mew DNA Crystal.

Professor Willow: Found wandering swamp biomes, Professor Willow will sell you loyalty coins for Team Mystic, Instinct, or Valor.

Pick Your Starter Pokémon: Choose your team from the available starters, with options for two teams available (but you will only receive one).

Pokécoins: Earn or craft Pokécoins to purchase important items from the Roaming Sales Assistant, who can spawn anywhere in the world. You can get Pokécoins from Pokéstops or as a Boss drop.

Healing and Potions

Healing Items:

Potions: Heal 20 HP.

Super Potions: Heal 200 HP.

Hyper Potions: Heal 500 HP.

Max Potions: Fully heal your Pokémon.

Additional Features

Fossils: Fossils spawn at levels 20-40 and can be obtained for fossil-related Pokémon.

Apricorns: These special trees drop apricorns, which come in various colors to craft your own Pokéballs. New crafting recipes are available.

Battle and Frenzy Berries: These berries can be obtained from Pokéstops and gyms.
