Minecraft Update Aquatic: Beta Coming Soon.

So the Java edition of Minecraft recently got a snapshot which included some of the Update Aquatic features such as turtles, kelp, a new weapon; the trident and the phantom. Well, a few people have been curious about a Bedrock beta. It was confirmed a few hours ago that there is a Bedrock beta for the Update Aquatic, and it is coming fairly soon.

As you can see, Aubrey Norris, who works in the Redmond office based on the Bedrock Engine, confirmed what many people speculated: that a beta IS on the way. However, it isn't the developers top priority. The bedrock for the Nintendo Switch is. She states that they are "Super busy getting Switch off the ground right now." which confirms that they are focusing heavily on Switch but the Update Aquatic beta is planned. No release date or an estimated timeframe has been confirmed by a developer.

The beta will be available for Android, Windows 10 and Xbox One devices. Other devices will sadly have to wait until the full release of Update Aquatic to enjoy the new features.
