How the Minecraft Developers Ruin-ed Minecraft.
The Minecraft developers have been doing a great job on the update Aquatic so far. They are working on multiple things in it such as Pufferfush, Ocean ruins and Kelp. So 2 developers Agnes and Jasper did an interview.
Agnes explained about how she thinks that exploration is important for Minecraft. She thinks that the oceans are fundamebtal part of Minecraft and with the introduction of the ocean ruins that they will make the oceans much more exciting and fun.
Here are some of the structures found.
She also explained how swimming has changed and how much fun it is to be swimming in an ocean and seeing items such as kelp, sea grass, fish and ocean ruins. She explained how treasure can be found and how much fun it can be to seean overgrown village and try to rebuild it into a base.
Here is some of the loot found.
She is also quite confident that the ruins will make oceans more exciting and went on to explain that they spawn in warm and cold biomes, there are different varients per biome aswell and that they are far from done.
Jasper said that the kelp is the first fully animated block in Minecraft. While lava and water are animated, this is the first animated and transparent block. He went on to say how it was a different change for Minecraft as a whole. He decided to animate them as if they didnt, it would just look un-natural.
Here is the kelp found!
He also added that the pufferfish has changed aswell by being its own mob and that its face looks like it is in agony
They might change the model before final release.
Here is a pufferfish!
He added that in real life, they puff up and that they will hurt you.

I am very excited about this coming release. It is much needed, so much wasted water space.
