Minecraft 1.14/MCPE 1.7 - NEW Desert Update Palm Trees & Meerkats!
Minecon Earth 2018 is fast approaching, earlier last week Jeb and the Minecraft team have announced that 3 biomes will be in the running for an update first. These biomes are Taiga, Savannah or Desert. Today we have seen the first sneak preview and that is of the Desert Biome! this comes with a new tree... the Palm Tree! this could spark the possibility of seeing NEW planks, doors, buttons & so much more, the other sneak preview was of a NEW Minecraft Mob. The Meerkat, as time goes no we will see more previews but does the desert get your vote so far?

I hope the desert biome wins because of palm trees, i would love to build with palm wood but i'm not sure if palm wood would be the official name of it once they add it. Please let me know what you guys think of the official name of the wood from palm trees would be if they added it, just leave your reply and i'll try to respond back as quickly as I can! I'm so glad they finally decided to update the desert biome and add a new tree type. But I don't really like the idea of a meerkat. It just feels out of place. For me at least.
