Minecraft Bedrock: Nintendo Switch Achievements CONFIRMED

So the Nintendo Switch Version of the Bedrock Engine has been in one stage of cert for some time now and we havent gotten much news (apart from a livestream) about it. In particular about the Xbox Live system and how it would work. Some small things like Xbox Achievements and if they would come.

Are Xbox Live achievements coming to the Nintendo Switch?

Yes! Helen Angel confirms that achievements ARE coming to the Nintendo Switch. This is really good news. This means that Nintendo Switch players can get an extra 1750Gamerscore for their profiles! It also looks like there are 2 sets of achievements aswell. One for he Switch Console and one for the Xbox Live aspect.

How will it show up on the Xbox Live system?

It is actually unknown to us how it will appear. But considering that it shows up as "Minecraft for Android" for Android, it may appear as "Minecraft for Nintendo Switch" on the system.
