Minecraft Mob illusioner SCRAPPED From Development
The latest news and information in the community is that one of the Mobs that was introduced in Minecraft Java 1.12 has now been confirmed by our Community Manager that it's development has been SCRAPPED and we do not know if this mob will be Official in the future versions of Minecraft. At the moment the illusioner can only be accessed via commands on the Java version meanwhile when the beckrock version of the game was given the corresponding 1.12 update and the illusioner is/was missing. Even on the Java version the illusioner was never given a spawn egg in creative, do you think this mob should be scrapped or officially added to all versions?

It had a bow and gave you status effects like blindness.
It also summoned multiple of itself but only one was real.
I am quite unsure if they will add this mob. They were probably just putting it in to see how things go with it.
It was certainly a different mob for Minecraft that's for sure. It is a possibility that it will be added to a full release.
