Mojang Panel Q&A at Minevention, Dublin-Questions Answered!

Panels are always fun right? As the community, we get to as questions and hope to recieve answers. Well, at the past weekend, Dinnerbone and Lady Agnes did a panel at Minevention in Dublin and answered some questions!

Could the Update Aquatic be used for learning?

Yes! Some parents love seeing people learning with Minecraft and withthe Update Aquatic, we can learn about dolphin and turtle behavior.

Will we see more mobs in Minecraft

Hopefully! While not being directly asked the question, they said that they think each in real life animal has a place in Minecraft. Dinnerbone also really wants pandas.

What were their favourite features that they added to Minecraft?

The answers were interesting. Lady Agnes' favourite features were the turtles and iceberg biomes. While Dinnerbones was the skeleton AI!

Do the developers want a Underground update?

They have thought a lot about an underground update. But they are trying to figure out what would be added and when would be the best time to do it.

Will the water physics change?

Possibly. The physicals showcased at Minecon Earth 2017 were a WIP. They want to make sure that there is a balance in the physics.
